Yu Wei Chinese Dance Collection
Yu Wei Chinese Dance Collection will perform on Friday, February 5 at 8 p.m. at Alden Theatre in McLean, VA. Yu Wei combines costumes, film, music and dance for a presentation inspired by Chinese classical literature, history and folk legends. Each dance has a short film counterpart depicting the dances' cultural and artistic background and information about Chinese traditional and ethnic culture. 

Alden Theatre is located just inside the Beltway and minutes from both the GW Parkway and I-66. Many immigrants in our area have substantial educational credentials from their home countries, but are unsure about how to make this education work for them here.  Some believe they have to “start over” in order to qualify for college or university admission or for employment in their field. 

On December 10, NOVA will be presenting Making Your Foreign Education Count in the U.S. on both the Annandale and Manassas campuses of NOVA.
