September 24, 2010, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Mason Inn Conference Center & Hotel George Mason University 4352 Mason Pond Drive Fairfax, VA Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) will co-sponsor the 2010 Virginia Small Business Summit, which is presented by Miller/Wenhold Capitol Strategies, LLC. The event will bring together entrepreneurs and small business leaders from across the Commonwealth, who will focus on developing common sense, businessfriendly ideas for Virginia lawmakers.
Virginia must continue to maintain a competitive edge by enacting sound policies that attract and retain businesses and investment.
The summit will convene on September 24, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn that evening at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at The Mason Inn Conference Center & Hotel on the campus of George Mason University.
The summit will focus on five core issues that are important to the small business community: Technology & Telecommunications, Transportation, Energy, Contracting & Regulatory Challenges; and Workforce Preparedness. These are working sessions, so participants can expect to roll up their sleeves and become actively involved in the discussion and final policies we will then submit to the Virginia Governor and General Assembly.
Governor Bob McDonnell has been invited to receive the summit's findings — 2010: A Small Business Blueprint for Virginia's Future. Registration fee is $99.
